Fontanot Fox Spiral staircase with wooden handrail

Fontanot FOX is a kit spiral staircase, made up of 11, 12, 13 or 14 rises and is complete with railing. The structure and the railing balusters are in painted steel: Embossed White Ral 9010, Grey Ral 9006, Iron Grey or Embossed Black Ral 9005.
The treads and the handrail are in Oak light or dark wood very strong. The landing that can be adapted during installation and can have three different configurations: circular, triangular and trapezoidal.

Thanks to the adaptable landing, the Fontanot Fox staircase can be installed in any type of opening and you can also decide the direction of rotation during installation.

An supplementary balustrade is also available to protect the opening on the upper floor.

The opening in the floor must be at least 5 cm larger than the diameter of the staircase.

• Dimension and weight:
  The staircase is delivered in a wooden box with 115x65x55 size and weight of 150 kg
  
  
• Cleaning and maintenance:
  Clean the treads as soon as dirt spots and dust deposits appear and at least every 6 months using a soft cloth moistened with water and specific non-abrasive and non-aggressive detergents. NEVER use abrasive scourers. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the surfaces with a microfibre cloth to remove the haloes that form because of the limestone in the water. Approximately 12 months from the date of installation, check tightness of the screws of the various components. Should even the smallest malfunction occur, it is obligatory to immediately and professionally carry out extraordinary maintenance.

  Avoid any improper use that is not in accordance with the product. possible violations or installations which don’t comply with the providers instructions can invalidate the agreed product conformities.

All spiral staircases whether new or replacement need to comply with the UK building regulations - there are also special requirements for Spiral Stairs and Space Saver stairs which are detailed in BS5395-2, the British Standard which applies to staircases of this type, BS5395-2 is referred to in building regulations as the general standard for spiral staircases and helical stairs.
