Supplementary balustrade Fontanot Splash R

The Fontanot Splash R supplementary balustrade allows protecting the opening on the upper floor, it's a 152 cm module composed of 4 vertical square-section balusters connected to each other by 5 square-section parallel tubes and a metal circular handrail.

It's available in three colors: Corten, Embossed Black 9005 and Ivory RAL 1015, the fixings are black. The bolts supplied are in stainless steel.

• Features materials:
  Fontanot Splash R is manufactured in varnished steel with a particular treatment that consists in a hot-dipped galvanization and subsequent powder coated varnish for outdoor use. The final result is a staircase that is exclusively indicated for outdoor installation because highly resistant to atmospheric elements. It can support temperatures ranging from -20° to 50°.
  
  

  Resistance

• Cleaning and maintenance:
  Clean the treads as soon as dirt spots and dust deposits appear and at least every 6 months using a soft cloth moistened with water and specific non-abrasive and non-aggressive detergents. NEVER use abrasive scourers. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the surfaces with a microfibre cloth to remove the haloes that form because of the limestone in the water. Approximately 12 months from the date of installation, check tightness of the screws of the various components. Should even the smallest malfunction occur, it is obligatory to immediately and professionally carry out extraordinary maintenance.

All spiral staircases whether new or replacement need to comply with the UK building regulations - there are also special requirements for Spiral Stairs and Space Saver stairs which are detailed in BS5395-2, the British Standard which applies to staircases of this type, BS5395-2 is referred to in building regulations as the general standard for spiral staircases and helical stairs.
