Supplementary external railing Fontanot Fox R

The Fontanot Fox R supplementary external railing is used as protection if the external side of the staircase is distant from the wall.
The kit is made up of 5 vertical steel baluster painted with epoxy powder coated in furnace, a handrail in solid wood oak the same color of the treads and fixings in nylon.

• Count the number of balusters necessary for the External Railing:
  It is possible to count the number of balusters necessary on the outside of the staircase. The balusters are represented by the dots on the external side.

You will therefore need to order 2 supplementary external railings. • Railing:
  The railing is with vertical baluster painted steel Embossed White Ral 9010, Grey Ral 9006, Iron Grey or Embossed Black Ral 9005.

• Steel Finishing:

• Cleaning and maintenance:
  Clean the treads as soon as dirt spots and dust deposits appear and at least every 6 months using a soft cloth moistened with water and specific non-abrasive and non-aggressive detergents. NEVER use abrasive scourers. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the surfaces with a microfibre cloth to remove the haloes that form because of the limestone in the water. Approximately 12 months from the date of installation, check tightness of the screws of the various components. Should even the smallest malfunction occur, it is obligatory to immediately and professionally carry out extraordinary maintenance.

  Avoid any improper use that is not in accordance with the product. possible violations or installations which don’t comply with the providers instructions can invalidate the agreed product conformities.

All spiral staircases whether new or replacement need to comply with the UK building regulations - there are also special requirements for Spiral Stairs and Space Saver stairs which are detailed in BS5395-2, the British Standard which applies to staircases of this type, BS5395-2 is referred to in building regulations as the general standard for spiral staircases and helical stairs.
